The following webinar Early Childhood Inclusion Step 1 – Observation and Planning for Inclusion, will be held on Tuesday 16 August at 7pm. In this 90-minute webinar, you will be guided through the process of taking observations that will assist you in planning for the inclusion of a child or children with disabilities or developmental delays within your early childhood service.
An overview of the planning cycle will be provided, along with an overview of different types of observations and their purposes. Case studies will demonstrate how different types of data collection can be used to inform planning.
The webinar will:
- guide educators through the process of taking observations that will assist them in planning for the inclusion of a child or children with disabilities or developmental delays within their early childhood service

Educators from all service types are invited to register. Completing this webinar will contribute 1 hour and 30 minutes of NESA-accredited professional development.
