Kitchen Whisk and Pom Poms

An easy and fun way for babies and toddlers to practice their fine motor and hand/eye coordination skills by grabbing and pulling items through a kitchen whisk. 

Materials Needed

  • Silicone Kitchen whisk
  • pompoms

What to do:

  • Fill pompoms into the kitchen whisk.
  • Encourage baby to take them out. 

Hints and Tips:

You could also try filling whisks with the following:

  • Straws
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Baby socks
  • Animal figurines 
  • Crepe paper 
  • Tissues 
  • Ribbon
  • Cotton wool 
  • Pieces of fabric
  • Newspaper cuttings 
  • Blocks
  • Cut up sponges
  • Larger yarn pompoms

Note: Please ensure that you supervise this activity.
