Counting beards is a fun "St Patrick's Day" counting activity from 1 to 20. Children need to recognise and identify the number on the leprechaun had and add the correct number of orange balls as a beard. This is a great way for children to recognise and learn numbers and for one to one correspondence. This can be used in a variety of ways including with playdough where children can make their own beards out of playdough when laminated children can draw their own beards.
