From 3 to 7 August, it is Early Learning Matters Week. This is a week to raise awareness and celebrate the importance of early childhood education.
During this week it's important to showcase how you support and develop children's learning through the learning environments, experiences and engaging in positive interactions.
Ways to celebrate include:
- Display examples of early learning on a display wall
- Share information and spread the word to families about the importance of early learning
- Create a message wall for educators to write messages about how they provide high-quality learning
- Display photos of children's learning
Early education and care support children to be confident, enthusiastic learners, building a foundation for wellbeing and achievement throughout their lives.
