In 2021, it was announced that a new Cert 3 and Diploma of Early Childcare Education and Care qualification course had been released and the previous course had become superseded. However, the older qualification courses has now been extended until January 2023 as decided by the Australian Skills Quality Authority.
As per the Australian Skills Quality Authority "ASQA has recently approved an extended transition period for the following Early Childhood Education & Care qualifications. The extended training, assessment and certification issuance period for this qualification ends on 20 January 2023"
You are still able to continue to complete the following qualification course up until 2023:
CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
CHC50113 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
CHC50213 Diploma of School Aged Education and Care
CHC30213 Certificate III in Education Support
CHC40213 Certificate IV in Education Support
The qualifications mentioned above, you will be able to continue to enrol and complete these courses until the end of the extended transition period.
