Vegan Australia, Sustainable Play Preschool, set to open in Newcastle this year, will serve entirely plant-based meals and focus on sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
The Preschool will maintain a vegetable garden, use rainwater tanks, excursions will be to local farms and national parks and all meals will be made using items grown in the vegetable garden and be plant based.
The vegan menu on offer includes morning smoothies rich of nutrients and as for munch tofu mac n cheese, chickpea tuna sandwiches, carrot zucchini muffins and for desserts vegan ice cream made using bananas.
The service also implement Sustainable ideology, where they utilise rainwater tanks, maintain a vegetable garden, buy Australian made and recycled products, and support local businesses and farmers where possible.
