Describe the steps that are required in determining a suitable response to an incident.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
guys I have looked through the element and all I see is suggesting suitable responses and developing and implementing response strategies

Are you after steps you would take to report an incident to a family?

Such as-

1) Attend to the child (apply first aid if necessary, inform director).
2) Fill in an incident report
3) Contact parent to let them know what happened
4) Add parent response onto incident report
5) When parent collects child give them the report and explain what had happened
6) Get parent to sign incident report
7) Photocopy incident report and give copy to parent
8) Place incident report on director desk for filing.
