1. HOW DO YOUR PRACTICES AND YOUR ENVIRONMENT ENSURE CHILDREN REMAIN CONNECTED TO THEIR FAMILIES?

AND

2. 3 WAYS YOU CAN FACILITATE CHILDREN BEING CONNECTED WITH THEIR FAMILIES THROUGHOUT THE DAY.


What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
1. CELEBRATORY HOLIDAYS, MOTHERS DAY AND FATHERS DAY, WE HAVE A FAMILY TREE WHERE EVERY CHILD CAN SEE THEIR FAMILY PHOTO, HAVING CONVERSATIONS WITH THE CHILDREN ABOUT THEIR FAMILIES AND LETTING THEM TALK ABOUT THEIR FAMILY.

2. THROUGH FAMILY PHOTOS, ALLOW THE PARENT TO SPEND TIME THE CHILD NEEDS WITH THEM, IF THE CHILD HAS SIBLINGS ALLOW THEM TO VISIT EACH OTHER DURING THE DAY.

For Q1 you can also include:

- inviting parents to come spend the day with their child
- open door policy
- discussing child's day with their parents
- giving and receiving feedback from the families about their child
- facilitating parent workshops and meetings
- parents are able to contact room leader at any time to see how their child is going

For Q2 you can also include:

- talking about their family
- drawing/painting pictures of their family
