Give some examples of the ways in which you might initiate communication with children relevant to their interests and capabilities.

Basically this question is asking of examples of how you will talk to a child based on their understanding and interests. For example: if you are looking through a book with a toddler talking about the pictures you would use simple language "where is the ball", "here", "a red shoe" etc. If you were looking through a book with a preschoolers talking about pictures you can used more complex words "what is under the tree", "on the right how many flowers are there" etc.
