Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCRF301D scenario 4
Your Assignment Type: Case Scenario
Currently Working in Childcare? Yes
Your knowledge: Basic Knowledge

Your Question?
matt works in an out of school hours program. he relates well to all of the children at the service and is able to speak their language. one afternoon he is approached by ralph, a new parent to the service who asks how his sons first week has been. matt responds by saying "chris is the most far out dood qith good air. no probs at all" ralph has a puzzled expression on his face and says "does that mean he is settling in ok?"

!. was matt's response appropriate>? explain your answer.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
in my opinion matts response was not appropriate. he was speaking to the parent like a child. using that language is great when talking to a child but when talking to a parent matt should talk like an adult and use appropriate terms.

does this sound ok?
