1. EXPLAIN THE PURPOSE OF A RANGE OF OBSERVATIONS AND OTHER METHODS USED TO GATHER INFORMATION ON CHILDREN.

2. HOW DOES THE SERVICE AND STAFF USE CHILD RECORDS TO COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT EACH CHILD?

3. HOW DOES THE SERVICE USE INFORMATION EXCHANGED WITH THE FAMILY TO COLLECT INFORMATION ABOUT EACH CHILDS NEEDS, INTERESTS, AND CULTURAL EXAMPLES.


What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?

Description and Message:
Trying to answer a few questions for my RPL, but after being in the kitchen for a few months, my brain is not making this easy! Any suggestions would be very appreciated!

Observations are used to ascertain where a child is developmentally, their interests and where we can plan for this child, moving forward (among other things)
The children's records can show their interests, developmental delays (if any), areas that require additional obs, allergies, medical issues, food intolerances etc.
Can use info exchanged with the family to understand cultural differences, work with the family to meet childrens needs etc.
this is only a small snapshot but might give you a start
