CHCPR301C - Materials to Use For Activities To Implement

Post by prettylaq » Wed Nov 27, 2013 8:02 pm

Your Assignment Module Number and Heading: CHCPR301C
Your Assignment Type: Standard Question
Currently Working in Childcare? No
Your knowledge: Beginner

Your Question?
Describe two activities that you might implement with children in a child care facility. For each activity, make a list of suitable materials that you will need to provide. How would you prepare the materials for use? Where might you get the materials from

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
My answer is we are going to make craft activity using empty cartoon for example, we are making cars using empty tissue boxes, we are putting wheels using plastic lid of milk and stick it on the side of the box and we cut the both side so that is the door of the car and then we put string to the front so we can pull it..
Is this right?

OK I get your idea...

First make a list of all the materials for the activity you said then how would you prepare the materials. For example< would you precut the door in the tissue box already or will the children do it? Will you set up the materials in the middle of the table for children to pick and choose or would you put all materials needed for one car in a basket that one child can create etc. For the last question, would you ask parents to bring in boxes, would you collect them yourself, how would you get the materials needed?

Hope this helps,
