Your Question?
Hi If anyone could tell me where can i fine information of the Regulations(Queensland) about providing water and drinks for chilren as the question is Mrs Jones has come into the service today not very happy as her child, Terry, went home yesterday very unwell and dehydrated. Mrs jones wants to see the Regulations about providing water and drinks for children. Below are some regulations listed choose one that is appropriate to this situation

1. Children must have access to safe drinking water at all times.
2. Children are offered food and beverages appropriate to the needs of each child on a regular basis throughout the day.
3. Children are offered food and beverages on a regular basis throughout the day.
4. All of the above.


What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I did choose the answer No. 2 but the answer was not correct.

I would of gone with all of the above, as they do need safe drinking water and working on age and soemtimes times they enter the centre you might need to offer them food at a slightly earlier time to others, or if they are late to leave supper.

Thank you for your help. I did also choose "all of the above" on my second attamp but it was still not correct. So I'm not sure it's might be the answer No. 1?

Yes, it will be option 1 - within an early childhood setting children should have access to drinking water at all times throughout the day.
