Feedback on OWNA

Post by CQ_Apple » Mon Jun 27, 2022 4:26 pm

Hi there. Is anyone using the app 'OWNA' in their centre for observations, communicating with families and also incident management/documentation among others? If you are, do you find it user friendly and would you recommend it? Thanks!

Hi!

We here at Aussie Childcare Network have created our own digital documentation app - Appsessment.

Appsessment has a variety of default documentation to use such as learning stories, a variety of observation methods, daily diary, curriculum plans and more which you can use to plan for each individual child's assessment and learning. You also have the option of creating your own Templates as well. If you're looking for a specific planning format, you can use the customise option to create your own planning template where you can select different fields such as checkboxes, headings, drop-down options, text fields and more.

Each documentation including the ones you customise and edit has a wide range of elements put together such as Information Fields, Upload Photos, Upload Videos, Attach Files, Choose Framework Outcomes, Interlinking, etc. When you create Documentation using Appsessment, you will notice that the form is highly simplified for your usage and it will streamline your presentation in a unique and professional way.

You can add Parents so they can access the updates from your App directly from their account. Once you create any type of documentation they will receive an email notification and they can log in to their account and view the update from their Timeline. This will increase the interaction with parents and keeps them up to date on what's happening with their child in your centre. The App manages the whole lot and makes the entire process more streamlined taking care of everything for you.

Appsessment also has Widgets with real-time date information for parents. Create Daily Information Widgets to record child's Attendance, Bottle Feeding, Eating, Sleep and Rest Time, Nappy Change, Toileting, Sunscreen and Water while in care. Parents are instantly notified about their child's daily routine.

- Send private messages to Educators and Parents in your Service App and have private conversations with your contacts to keep the information confidential.

- Digital Signatures enable both Educators and Parents to sign important documents such as media release forms, excursions forms, forms as per regulations requirements such as administering medication, injury/illness forms and more.

There are a ton of features with the above just a few.

Please check the following: Appsessment

Ok, so it sounds like you need to organise an indoor experience for children and then write about how it went. What experience have you organised?
