the 5 (or 7) Developmental Areas/Domains and their respective skills

Post by Username1 » Mon Apr 01, 2013 1:50 am

Hiya,

I was wondering if anyone is aware of a resource of some sorts in which skills and/or examples for their respective Developmental Area/Domains are listed.
In my Certificate III studies, I was given a list that was formatted in a way that had the Domain eg 'Physical' and below was a list of skills i.e Palmar Grasp, Tripod Grip, Digital Pronate etcetera. Unfortunately I have misplaced this sheet! I found it was great to refer to when writing observations and all. I've searched online but I cannot find anything of a similar format. If anyone is aware of anything that sounds similar I'd greatly appreciate a reply!

Thank-you for reading,
Alexis

I'm not too sure if this is what you're after, however in our Resources section we have each Child Stages of Development. We have listed each developmental milestone a child will achieve in each of the domains according to their age.

You can check it out here: Child stages of Development.

I'm also attaching a document which lists skills in each of the domains....

Let me know if this is what you're after,

Cheers,
