National Regulations

Post by Macoola » Fri Oct 14, 2011 1:48 pm

I am about to start my Diploma through Australian Institute of Earlychildhood in Brisbane, although I will be doing it via correspondence from Sydney or overseas depending on what happens in my life next year.

I am just a bit concerned about when the National Regulation will be brought in. I Know the draft is out but I am just urious about when if anyone knows aproximatly when it will start to be enforced and if that will affect the course I am doing which I asume will be based on the Queensland Regulations??

Thamks for your help!!!:) :D

Hi Macoola,

As far as I know different parts of the National Regulation will be in-force at different periods over the next few years. For example: everyone who works in childcare must at least or be studying towards a cert 3 by Jan 2014. I don't think it should affect the course you are doing because I'm pretty sure this will probably be included in it. Contact your course provider to find out...

Good Luck!
