Planning For A Child's Language Skills

Hi All
Hope someone can help? currently having a parent expressing her concerns that we are not planing around her child's needs {Language}.
We have taken a observation relating to child's language for their portfolio ,we have also added flash cards at group time plus alphabet charts on wall's.
Parent is saying it's not enough.
Hope someone can help with any thoughts.

Language plays an important role in a child’s development. It enables a child to communicate effectively with their family, learn at school, socialize with friends, build relationships with others and complete simple tasks such as talking on the phone and buying something from the shops.

As important as language is, it doesn't come easily to a child. The people surrounding them and their environment have significant impact on how a child’s language skills will develop.

You could also give a copy of the above article to the parent to let them know the strategies you will be implementing as well...

Thank you I have read through strategies there is a lot in there that we already have in place, I think this one is going to be a ongoing issue as nothing we informing the parent we are doing seems to be right.
