Plants are the living things, they grow and reproduce like any other living thing. They follow a cyclic process of starting a new life, growing, and then coming back to the starting stage (reproducing). A plant’s life begins with the seed. With water, right temperature and right location, the seed grows. It becomes a seedling. Roots push down into the ground to get water and minerals.

The plants also need carbon dioxide for the photosynthesis process to produce starch from sunlight and carbon dioxide which then convert to glucose to further used by the plant to make other substances like cellulose and starch. The teacher also helps the student to understand how the plant is necessary for the earth atmosphere and controlling the temperature on earth by taking carbon dioxide.

The plant starts life as a seed, which germinates and grows into a plant. The mature plant produces flowers, which are fertilised and produce seeds in fruit or seedpod. The plant eventually dies, leaving seeds that germinate to produce new plants.

There are 5 stages of the plant life cycle. The seed, germination, growth, reproduction, pollination, and seed spreading stages.
