What expectations might a parent have regarding the education of a child whose first language is not English?

Just to confirm are you looking for…

1) expectations of education in early childhood for a child whose first language isn't english (or)
2) expectations of language for a child whose first language isn’t English…

Also Are you looking for a specific age?
