They are speedy swimmers, adorable waddlers, and frequent movie stars. What's not to love about penguins?

Penguins don't have teeth. Fleshy spines inside their mouths help them swallow fish. The protrusions face backward to help guide the catch down their throats.

Some more facts about penguins

Gentoo Penguins are the fastest of all penguin species! These penguins can swim at speeds of up to 36km/h!
Penguins poop every 20 minutes
Penguins are known for looking sharp
Many penguin species have remarkable memories.
There are at least 17 species of penguins
The smallest type of penguin is only around 10 inches tall
They are super powerful swimmers and can jump up to 7 feet in the air.
They can also torpedo down into the water as deep as 1,870 feet deep.
They're super friendly with people.
