3-4 years is the best...

I would say some children can even begin at 2 and a half... Preschools are typically for children at 3 years and above but I think some children as young as 2 and a half are ready to start preschool, more so then some of the 3 year old children themselves. I think it should be based on individual child rather than how old the child is...

Hello,

Preschool education is designed for children aged between 3 and 5.

In Australia, most children who go to preschool are 4 or 5. Some preschools also have programs for 3 year-olds. Each state offers preschool at different ages.
