New Room Leader wanting to gift co workers at start of year

Hi, I have this idea that I would like to give a small token to my co workers at the start of next year with thoughts of a notebook, some pens, lollies etc to firstly break the ice as I will be running the room for the first time and secondly to let them know that I am there to support them. Please give me your thoughts, I am not sure if I am doing the right thing or not? Will they appreciate the gesture or not.... Has anyone else done this before and what did you give? Regards SharryneK

Are you going to be giving gifts to all educator's all just the ones in your room?

You could give a Diary and a pen set maybe or even a mug that they can use at work for coffee etc.

I really didn't think about the coffee mug idea, but have given thought to the diary... thanks for the ideas
