Typically a baby is able to sit up unsupported from about 9 months old. From the sounds of it your child seems to be developing appropriately in all other areas.
You may need to support your child by doing some exercises to strengthen his muscles For e.g. lay your baby on his tummy and encourage him to look up, reach up and forward. This will help strengthen the muscles he needs for sitting. You could try and search for some exercises that will help your baby strengthen his muscles.
A few things you could try include: placing pillows around your baby while sitting up, put your baby in sitting position and encourage him to reach forward for the toys, place your baby in a cardboard box with pillows to support him sitting by himself.
Also, If you don't mind me asking was your baby premature because this can cause a developmental delay in milestones.
If you are very concerned about it, it's best to go see a doctor just to make sure!
Cheers ,

Some child grow up slower as compared to the other children. So, your baby might be developing slowly. But if you are getting worried about it then you can consult with any child specialist.

Your child is only 11 month old. Do not worry at all. You must take him to some specialist. It looks like a slow growing case. in some cases child grow up slowly due to some certain reasons. In all other senses the child is growing up properly.
