What to do in group time? could someone please share with me their ideas of group time activities? Just before lunch what activities could I do with the children other then reading stories. I want something fun and beneficial for the children. Please someone share with me their ideas.

my children likes my head bone connect to the back bone do it with actions also the hockey pokey maybe you could do musical statues or musical chairs good luck

songs
games (eg find me something blue, who can see something beginning with 's' etc)
discussions (tell me what you do at home, talk about favourite toys, food etc)
there is a lot you can do depending on what age group you are dealing with

With babies lots of action songs. Read books that have lots of words to make into sound effects.
You can explore tastes & textures. Musical instruments.

With older children incorporate colours shapes etc into songs. Play matching games. Find it games. Group time can be discussion time with the 3-5 age group. Show & tell etc.
