Hi Lorina,
I was wondering if you have Djab Wurrung language resources similar to the Yugambeh resource. If not, do you know who I could contact to gain more information on the Djab Wurrung people and their language as I am teaching 3 years old kinder this year. Our centre is highly motivated in providing this opportunity for all our children.
Thank you in anticipation for your help.
Kind regards,
Janice
PS Apologies if the spelling is incorrect for Djab Wurrung.

Hi Janice,

That's great to hear that you want to implement ATSI languages into your program!

I found the following information: The Djab wurrung language shares 85 per cent common vocabulary with Jardwadjali, 82 per cent with Wemba-Wemba, 66 per cent with Madhi Madhi and 68 per cent with Letji-Letji.

This is a story I found which has some words in Djab Wurrung langauge: The Blue Herron

I found the following fb page, you could contact them and ask them for further information:
Dja Wurrung Community

Hope this helps!
