Advice needed please

Hi all,
I am after a career change after being RN for a few years and even gaining postgraduate degree.
It is not a carrier for me and I am wishing to pursue a carrier in childcare and have been looking into courses.
I have 5 young kids of my own and live kids, especially babies and toddlers.
My question is whether I should complete cert 3 or diploma? I am not sure I understand roles of both. My ideal job would be interacting with kids, not instructing other staff in their daily jobs. . Could someone please offer insight into job description of both and minimum wages?
Secondly, I am looking at ACTAC vs TAFE. ACTAC is much cheaper, especially if I do a diploma, but I am worried whether it’s a good choice?
Also, how difficult is it to find a job? As a RN I had no difficulty finding a job recently , even after not having worked for 4 years. Many thanks
