CHCLEG001

Post by Noran » Thu Apr 19, 2018 9:57 am

you are an educator in the 3-6 room in a long day center. during outdoor free play you noticed another staff member left a full water trough outdoors when all children returned inside for lunch.

list 3 workplace practices you could implement to ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect children from this hazard.

any resources anyone can share please?

1. before you leave to attend the hazard tell your co worker you are leaving the area and staff-child ratios are met and someone can replace you.
2. scan the environment making sure no child is in immediate danger.
3.attend the hazed and make sure the trough is emptied and put away in storage to prevent collection of rain water

is this correct?

How will you communicate and provide information to Mita and Peter about Anna whilst she is enrolled at the service? (consider things like how you might inform them of her learning and development, interests, incidents etc.)

hello lorina,

This is the only question l am stuck on: Provide one example of how personal belief or values could impact on an educator's relationship with children or families.

l know that my values are honestly, loyalty, commitment. My beliefs are linked backed to my religion and maybe me not being so open minded and that can lead to judging families and children.

Is that correct?
