Hi,

I am currently pursuing my diploma in early childhood care. I am stuck on few questions. If anyone can help me that would be good.

Q. What are the rights of clients (families and children) in an Early Childhood Education and Care service?
Ans. • Be treated in a fair and dignified manner and receive courteous, respectful, efficient amd fair services.
• Be treated without discrimination based on cast, gender, race, religion or any other grounds.
• A staff member should be easily approachable.
• Have their personal information kept confidential.
• To be informed of the procedures for initiating complaints about the services.
• Refuse or discontinue service at any time

Q. Consider your role as an Early Childhood Education and Care worker.
i. Do you have an ethical responsibility to report suspected child abuse?
ii. In your own words describe what process would you follow?
iii. Identify which organisational policies, procedures or standards you would follow?

Ans. I am totally lost on iii and can't find any policies/guidelines that I need to follow for suspected child abuse. Can anyone guide me towards policies/guidelines for reporting child abuse/trauma and support after trauma.

Thanks in advance.
