Understanding Of Trauma A Child Has Experienced

Hi there,
The assignment question relates to how having an understanding of trauma a child has experienced can help you provide better care to them. I've done some reading regarding trauma and understand that a child might therefore find self regulation of one's emotions more challenging and that change can be more confronting for them. But does that assist me to care for them better in that i'm more understanding of their needs, and what may trigger them to become upset (eg being left alone/out of my sight)
Am I on the right track?
Thanks

Yes... It sounds like you're on the right track... It sounds like if a child has experiences a type of trauma what practices you will use to provide them support...
