Question eleven-the veggie patch:

Read the narrative 'The veggie patch' and the additional information provided.

Based on the information provided:
a)Plan a follow up project related to the web information gathered by sally. Write a rationale for your choice of project . Your project should reflect the need to focus on the children's language development.
b) Suggest 3 experiences that could be included in the project
c)Link your project to a goal/s from the EYLF

Suggest how your project will promote Zac and Jonahs special interact in gardening.

What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
I dont get what to do for the project so unless i do i cant answer any of the questions. please help

I don't know anything about "The Veggie Patch" narrative or who Sally is etc. But I'll try to explain my interpretation of what I think you need to do for these questions...

a) Look at the information that was gathered by Sally. Can you think of an activity/project you could organise that would relate to the information she gathered? The question wants you to give a reason (rationale) why you chose to do that particular project. Simple reasons could be: the children will enjoy it, it caters for different levels of development in the children (like fine motor), it will help the children to develop an appreciation for the environment etc. The assignment also wants you to have a focus on the development of language. Since this assignment seems to relate to gardening, perhaps you could focus on introducing new words into the children's vocabularies (like germinate, or seedling, or compost etc) depending on their age.

b) Simply, your project needs to have three different experiences in it.

c) Your project needs to be supported by the goal/s in the EYLF (outcomes): Children have a strong sense of identity; Children are connected with and contribute to their world; Children have a strong sense of wellbeing; Children are confident and involved learners; Children are effective communicators. You can find more specific examples of scenarios that relate to each outcome in the EYLF (p.21-44).
