Scenario: Erica - My Dad Hurt Me

a) Record a short video, in which you must demonstrate your response to Erica.
Instructions:
i. Ask a friend or family member (may be another adult) to act as Erica in this scenario.
ii. Set up a camera to record you and your friend or family member acting out the scenario. Consider using a phone camera if that is easiest.
iii. Begin the video recording with your friend or family member saying to you “My Dad hurt me”.
iv. Respond to your friend or family member the same way you would as if you were responding to a child at a childcare centre.
v. Submit the video file to your assessor as part of your assessment.
vi. There is no minimum time limit, but your video must not be more than three (3) minutes in length.


my answer is i will get down to their level, remain present, hug them, sit with them, speak calmely
can u plz help me how can i show in the video my response? thanks

It sounds like a child abuse scenario and how you would talk to a child if they told you they were getting hurt and how you would handle it...
