Hi.. again.... still struggling to get my head around all these laws and regulations...
ive got a scenario where an educator discloses sensitive information about a child to other children in the centre and name an important legal obligation and ethical practice the educator has ignored.... when i reference back to the law around confidentially is it enough to reference the education and care services national regulations or do you also need to/should refer to other acts like Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988-Privacy Ammendment (privacy sector)Act 2000 ? Is the education and care services national regulations made up of all these different Acts n regulations in relation to childcare or are they effectively different? I understand the national regulations and can read/understand the laws set out in it, but struggle to get my head around, or understand what points in different acts are actually relevant to a childcare setting.

Does any of that make sense?
head is going to explode lol
can someone explain it to me in a simplified way? :sweating: :wtf:

I have a copy of a Private Policy from a centre. Maybe this will help with your question:

Private Policy

You can also include Code Of Ethics within your response:

Code Of Ethics

Hope this helps,
