Scenario: Child Throwing Sand

when children play in sandpit and older child starts throwing sand then educator explain the rules of safe play and what happens if the sand is thrown the child start yelling at educator and tells at her he doesnt care what you say you you are not the boos of him .how do we resolve this situation?

Tell him that you are here to keep him and the other children safe and that throwing sand is not safe as it gets into other children's eyes. It hurts and can cause an infection. You can give him a choice - if he wants to play in the sandpit he will need to stop throwing it or he can find somewhere else to play.

Thank you for your help and your answer .I have other question about that question if the child responds to your action and choose to continue playing in the sandpit and play appropriately how can you support his decision ?

You could acknowledge his choice and provide encouragement when they are displaying appropriate behaviour - "I can see you're really enjoying playing in the sandpit and I would love for you to continue playing. Just remember that you need to use the sand safely". After a couple of minutes - "Thank you for playing safely with the sand".
