Responsibilities Of Parents Within The Inclusion Policy

Hello,
My question relates to 2 responsibilities parents must be aware of in relation to an inclusion policy.
I'm thinking that one responsibility is that the policy relates to the parents as well, in that an organisation endeavours to adopt an inclusive culture, accepting of all individuals and that parents are to model this too?
Am I on the right track?
Thanks kindly

Parents/guardians are responsible for: adhering to the policies, including this Inclusion and Equity Policy and the Privacy and Confidentiality Policy, at all times communicating with the service to ensure awareness of their child’s specific needs raising any issues or concerns regarding their child’s participation in the program being involved in, keeping fully informed about, and providing written consent for any individualised intervention or support proposed/provided for their child responding to requests from educators for written permission to arrange for an assessment or collect reports on their child.

Hope this helps,
