Dear Lorina,
Could you pls help me with the following question?
Listed below are some key Performance Influencing Factors (PIFs) which are the characteristics of the job, the individual and the organisation that influence human performance. Reflect and record examples from your own experience that relate to the PIFs.
Difficulty/complexity of tasks, Time constraints, Communication with colleagues, Workplace support and supervision, Working environment (noise, heat, space, lighting, ventilation)personal factors: Competence to deal with challenging situations, Stress/morale/work overload, organisational factors: Complexity of legislative framework , Staff: child ratios
I have done all the questions, except for Complexity of legislative framework, I do not understand how Complexity of legislative framework can influence performance indicator factor. I need to provide an example from my experience. Could you pls give me a hint?

What do you think of my answer:
National legislative framework creates a national approach to the regulation and quality assessment of child care and early learning services, but it is a very complex system. Child care managers and coordinators are often stressed and overloaded with paperwork especially if the service is due for quality assessment. Very often other important managerial issues and tasks are put aside and of course it has a negative impact on the service

hi zanna, well I am not sure that I am on the right track with all my responses, I will give you some examples from my assignment.
personal factor - Physical capability/fatigue
For example: shift work patterns in child care contributes to fatigue, impacts physical capability in the workplace. You need to include here example from your own experience.
another factor - Workplace Health and Safety
Educators who are not following WHS procedures often end up with injuries of different kinds ( back injuries, etc). As a result the injured educator is off work, service has to pay liabilities. Also you may provide your own example.
zanna, as you see, it is not difficult, only time consuming. think of each of the factor and how it my affect work performance and provide example for each.
