Hi,
Im currently studying my Dip in Childrens services, i was wondering if someone could help me out with this:

i am required to write observational questions to guide my observations for children in relation to EYLF outcomes.

What are observational questions?

completely stuck.

Not 100% sure what you actually need... but my guess is the questions you need to answer to, to take the observation.

For example: What is the child doing? What are they experiencing? What learning is taking place? how can you extend on this experience? Where will you go from here?

From the few details you have provided I'd guess this is kind of what they're getting at :-).

Observational questions that link with the frameworks EYLF

what are the child's

- interests, strengths and achievements?
- skills, knowledge and feelings?
- Interactions with peers and adults?
- Family, heritage, culture and community?
