Hi ive had a bit of a scan through other topics on this and think i have an idea on where im going but just want a bit of clarification/support/ideas im on the right track
I have 2 list 3 differences between MTOP and EYLF

first is obviously EYLF is focued around 0-5 and MTOP 6-12
2nd is EYLF helps children transition into schooling giving them opportunities to maximize potential and develop a foundation for future sucess and learning while MTOP focuses on children having opportunities to engage in leisure based experiences which contribute to ongoing development

The 3rd is what i want a bit of help with.... what i was thinking was..
EYLF has a focus on working in partnerships with families and the community, while MTOP has more of a focus on working in collaboration with children along side a partnership with families and the community giving the children a more active role in planning for their wellbeing and outcomes...

Do you think im on the right track there?

Input would be fantastic

Yes, I think you have the right idea!
The Framework has been designed for use by school age care educators working in partnership with children, their families and the community, including schools. It represents Australia’s first national framework for school age care to be used by school age care educators, and aims to extend and enrich children’s wellbeing and development in school age care settings
