Introducing Classical Music To Children

I have come across this question in my nuture creativity in children unit...It asks us to choose a type of music and complete the following activities.
describe the type of music, provide three examples of this type of music (including title and artist) and explain how you would introduce children to this type of music..Provide at least five examples.
So I am thinking that as part of my answer I could maybe pick something like classical music and a way that I could perhaps introduce the children to this music would be to use it as either a dance type activity or a movement to music or if it was a slower piece of music perhaps use it as part of their quiet time activities.?????
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hi Lorina thanks so much for the music ideas above I had some what I thought were great ideas for how I could incorporate these with the activites for the children.I now have to tackle dance and provide a type of dance with 3 examples of music this dance including title and artist might be performed to, and how I could introduce this type of dance to children. As you might have gathered I get very little or no help from my lecturers, I mean I don't want them to tell me the answer just a little more support from them would be great.Had I not worked in the industry for as long as I have I would be truly stuck without the help from the likes of people on this site and others who have helped me immensley.

With the amount of students needing support, a simple explanation of the question or further information I sometimes wonder what the lecturers are doing!! It seems like they give out the assignments and just mark them off! Not a lot of support is given to students at all by their course provider! It's OK though, because I'm here to help! Maybe I should be a lecturer!
Back to your question...types of dancing... country (line) dancing (I vaguely remember one when I was in Year 1... heel toe, heel toe, slide slide slide, right foot in left foot in, hands together, knee knee, knee and off we go - that's how the song went, dancing in partners), hip hop (use you tube to find a simple routine for preschoolers) and maybe disco dancing (YMCA, let's twist again - not sure of that's disco).
Hope this helps,
