I've been struggling with this, I have to create a social experience that will investigate an ethical issue in the local community.
I'm struggling on what would be an ethical issue in the community, I was thinking maybe littering, how not putting rubbish in the bin affects and harms our wildlife? I'm not sure!
TIA

Creating a social experience to investigate an ethical issue in your local community is a great way to raise awareness and encourage positive change. Littering is indeed a significant ethical issue, and its impact on wildlife and the environment is profound.

Littering and its impact on wildlife is a great ethical issue to explore for your project. It touches on environmental responsibility, community health, and the well-being of local ecosystems. You could design a social experience that raises awareness about the consequences of littering on local wildlife, perhaps through a community cleanup event followed by a discussion or workshop. You could also incorporate educational elements, such as how littering impacts the food chain and local biodiversity, to foster a deeper understanding of the issue.

You may discover how improper waste disposal not only harms animals through consumption or entanglement, but also disrupts ecosystems.
crossy road Consider engaging your community in clean-up events or awareness campaigns to promote responsible waste management and its benefits for wildlife conservation.

HI!
Littering and its impact on wildlife is a great ethical issue to explore! It ties into environmental responsibility, community awareness, and the consequences of human actions on ecosystems. If you're looking for other ethical issues in your local community, here are some ideas:
Potential Ethical Issues to Investigate
- Environmental Ethics – Pollution, waste management, and conservation efforts.
- Social Justice – Access to education, healthcare, or housing disparities.
- Public Safety – Road safety, pedestrian rights, or responsible urban planning.
- Animal Welfare – Stray animal care, wildlife protection, or ethical treatment of pets.
- Consumer Ethics – Sustainable shopping, fair trade, or ethical business practices.
Ideas for a Social Experience
- Community Cleanup Event: Organize a cleanup day and document the impact of littering.
- Wildlife Awareness Campaign: Create posters or social media content showing how litter harms animals.
- Public Survey: Gather opinions on waste management and ethical responsibility.
- Interactive Art Installation: Use recycled materials to create an exhibit on environmental ethics.
Hope this helps!
