Cultural/Religious requirements: some culutres and religions don't allow certains foods to be eaten due to beliefs and traditions. For e.g. musliums - no pork only halal etc.

Health Requirements: some children are unable to eat certain foods based on allergies or diet restrictions such as penut allergies or lacto intolerant etc.
