1) Provide a series of observations and interpretations(for one child)addressing all aspects of development and interests over a period of time and in a variety of situations?
2) Discuss how observations on the children are shared with staff and used to inform program planning. give some examples?
3) Provide examples of how you give parents feedback on the information you have gathered about each child?
4)Discuss the early years learning framework and the National Quality Standards rating and assessment process principles and practices that relate to :
-Documentation
-Profiling each child's learning and wellbeing, and
-Record keeping.
5) What Children's services regulations relate to records ans access to children's information. Explain the reason for these regulation?
6) How would you use the current curriculum framework to observe, interpret and plan for children?
7) Explain the system you use to ensure all children are observed over a period of time?
What is your answer so far or What have you done so far as an attempt to solve this question?
i have a little bit knowledge about the observation like: anecdotal records, running record, photos, artwork, videos, learning stories.
we can share information in a staff meeting with staff or also tell verbally/ personally also share with parents in the pick/drop time,in a one on one meeting,by email or phone.
regulations related records Quality area 7 (not sure)
i will do observation on child's for a regular basis and try to find out his interests/strength. after that i will do programming for child depend on his particular interest and also think about how can i extend his learning with this.
also use floor books for the observation.
please give me guidance i need to finish this unit till friday...
