Filling out experience plan

Hi,

I have to fill out an experience plan but I'm a bit stuck on two questions as this is the first time I've filled one out.

My experience is using leaves to paint with 2yrs

1) What will you do to provide the flexibility to respond to the children’s interest during the experience? Really confused on what to put for this questions could someone please give me some tips or an example

2) What communication strategies will you use to facilitate this experience?

This is what I have wrote down but not sure if it's right- giving the children taking part in the experience options by asking them questions e.g. should we collect some leaves ourselves. what other things could we collect from the garden to paint with.

1) This question is asking what can you do during your chosen experience to respond to the children's interest. For example: you have chosen "Painting Leaves" so what would you do if a child wants to paint with a stick instead of leaves, what if a child wants to paste their leaves on paper rather than paint them etc. One idea could be that you offer a few other options glue, paper, sticks, paints so children can freely explore their interests.

2) Yes, you're on the right track! Be positive, respond to their suggestions, talk about their painting, the colour of the leaves, the pattern the leaves make etc.

Hope this helps,
