The way each child’s agency is promoted, enabling them to make choices and decisions and influence events and their world in children’s early learning environment is for the educators to set up a play dough table with different play dough tools in a basket for the children to use and explore with. There was a self selection self nearby the play dough table with different craft materials, scissors, coloured paper, penicils, glue and magazines in it and some children decided to collect the scissors from the self selection self and use the scissors to cut the play dough to make different shapes and animals.
