Babies make non-verbal cues in many different ways to let us know what they need or how they are feeling and it is our job as educators to respond to their needs.
Some examples of baby non-verbal cues include:
- Making faces
- Smiling
- Arching their back
- Rubbing their eyes (they might do this when they are tired)
- Crying (there are many different types of cries such as when they are hungry or tired or in pain)
Each of your units should have reading resources to assist you with your assignments, there are many resources available on babies non-verbal cues.
Try typing "non-verbal cues in babies" into Google and many come up
