Hi This is a question on our Diploma cluster?

Do I look in acecqa in The National Regulations?

I've been searching for the last hour for policy?
I am just confused where to look please?

Is the answer to Q1... Workplace health and safety
I don't want to know the answers of course...... just confused where to look and what to read :)

3. As an educator you will deal with many legal and ethical issues in your day to day work role.
Following is a list of issues that may arise. Identify the appropriate legislation and a relevant policy
that addresses each issue:
a. A hazard has been identified in your workplace e.g. asbestos in the wall.
Legislation: _________________________________________________
Policy: __________________________________________________
b. You have discovered that another educator, currently employed at the same level as you, is
being paid at a different rate per hour.
Legislation: _________________________________________________
Policy: __________________________________________________
c. A parent has a complaint about the quality of the services provided to their child.
Legislation: _________________________________________________
Policy:

Thank you Jennifer.

Hi Jennifer,

You just need to know where to look! Not everything can be found in the National Regulations so you need to be aware of other legislations that we also need to consider...
A hazard has been identified in your workplace e.g. asbestos in the wall.

Depending on your state you can look into the following regulations:
Workplace, Health and Safety Regulations
You have discovered that another educator, currently employed at the same level as you, is being paid at a different rate per hour.

Fair Work Australia Legislation
A parent has a complaint about the quality of the services provided to their child.

National Regulations

As for the policies I think it may refer to the policies within the centre... So, for the last one an example for the policy would be "Complaints and Grievances".

Hope this helps,
