curriculum planning format

How to collaborate with others to plan the curriculum when you are a student? It is very limited you can do as a student. I am doing work placement where there are at least 2 children with additional needs and 2 children with developmental delay daily attendance and its just so hard to do anything with them running around due to poor impulse control. Most of my day is spent helping with the children to be safe? there is no time to arrange meeting to plan a curriculum . There is no time use a variety of planning tools to record experiences; including ongoing projects, learning centres, curriculum webs and experience plans etc., any suggestions?
