Collecting Children's Information

Question: There are many ways in which children's information including observations can be gathered and documented within an early childhood setting. Give a description of each of the following types of documentation used in gathering information and the assessment of learning in children. Provide your answers using bullet points.

a. Enrollment forms

b. Information webs

c. Written observations

d. Photo observations

e. Learning story

f. Sample of children's work

My answers for
a. information about diet, custody, etc...
b. about the centere etch...
c. development milestone and language etch...
d. you can pick up feelings or sad etc...
e. Encouragement
f. I can get development

I am not really sure if I am right with this answers

I apologise for my delayed response... I've been unwell...

In regards to your responses, yes you're on the right track...

You can also include:

a. information about diet, custody, etc...
information on background, culture, parents, parents occupation, where the child lives, family life etc.

b. about the centere etch...
the child's thoughts and ideas

c. development milestone and language etch...
how the child interacts in different experiences, how they engage in experiences, details on what they say and do, outcomes achieved

d. you can pick up feelings or sad etc...
who they play with, how they play

e. Encouragement
a story of how they engaged in a particular experience or event that they were part of

f. I can get development
how they progressed over time, how they express themselves, creative development
