1. Offer counseling sessions (outside the centre) that Rhonda can attend. Establish a positive relationship with Rhonda so she will trust you. Make yourself approachable and you are willing to help her. Allow her to come to the centre a few days a week when her children attend.
2. If you have any concerns please feel free to talk to us.

I would get additional information from the special school and from you about your child. I would ask you as much questions so that it helps your child settle easily into our care.
1. I would ask you about your child's interests
2. what things irritate him/her.
3. What noises your child dislikes.
4. Ask about your child's behaviour
5. I would make him feel comfortable and look at his/her needs
6. If I am not sure how to respond I will call you and ask for help.
7. I will allow him to sit in a comfortable place if he does not want to interact with other children
8. Help and guide him/her during activity time and give a lot of encouragement
9. Ongoing observation on your child's development, likes and dislikes.
10. Small key words that he/she understands for communication.
2. what questions do you have for me ?
1. what does your child like or dislike?
2. How long does he sleep for during the day?
3. What type of behavior does he do that is constant or regular?
4. Is your child on any medication?

You really think that it is a good answer? I cannot imagine the situation when Educator says something like that to me. I will run away.
In my opinion, this answer is not correct.
