Concepts;
Weaving pipe cleaners through a colander or recyclable object with inserts made.
Making a variety of inserts in a recyclable object, and gathering things like lids and whatnot to put inside inserts.
Play dough with pipe cleaners, pom poms and containers.
Bean bags and/or ball pit balls and a basket, or a recycled object used as a slot or goal (non-competitive).
Description and Message:
Hullo,
I would really appreciate some suggestions or guidance with my assessment. My plan is for a 14 month old girl referred to as 'I'. I am planning for fine motor;
passing objects from hand to hand
wrist rotation
wrist and grasp strength/control
palmar grasp
digital pronate grasp
poking/pointing
throwing/arm strength
Are they appropriate for a 14 month old, will they work in a 0-2 environment (as I am doing this at the centre I work at. 'I' is in the 0-2 YO room). Any suggestions on how to set it up?
