When talking about inclusion policies it is including children of all ability levels (e.g. child with additional needs) and cultural and ethnic backgrounds opportunities for participation and belonging within your childcare service.

Some of the evidence you can provide for this unit include:

- anti-bias policy
- supporting child with additional need policy
- program which reflects culture
- photos of cultural celebrations at the centre
- posters of different cultures throughout the centre
- photos of books of people with additional needs within the community
- photos of tasks which involve both males and females equally such as building, housekeeping etc
- printed materials/poster in different languages
- photos of collection of written resources on inclusion for staff, parents and children
- record conversations with children about other cultures, differences etc.

Hope This Helps,
